The 5th High-level Ministerial Meeting of the Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (THE PEP) was held in the form of a virtual event via a dedicated online platform. This offered greater comfort and safety to participants and at the same time reduced the environmental impact of the conference.
The physical parts of the event have been certified according to the criteria of the Austrian Ecolabel for Green Meetings.
PARTICIPATION:
Active participation in the 5th High-level Ministerial Meeting of the Transport, Health and Environment Pan-European Programme (THE PEP) was by personal invitation only. Live streams of the conference, the webinar and exhibition offerings as well as the personal networking opportunities were available to all registered participants.
A dedicated online platform was set up via the conferencing tool “hopin” to handle the event. Replicating a real conference situation, this platform provided different virtual rooms and networking functions. Apart from the virtual main stage for the official parts of the conference programme, it comprised several webinar rooms and virtual exhibition booths. Participants were able to engage with organisers, exhibitors and other participants via chats or private video conversations and exchange contact information comparable to a physical conference surrounding.
